Gisou is a leading hair care brand born out of a passion for honeybees and hair care. Gisou’s honey-infused products is one of the fastest growing beauty businesses in the world and the most followed hair care brand on TikTok. The founder, Negin Mirsalehi, is a 6th generation beekeeper and their sustainably sourced honey is at the heart of every Gisou blend.

Gisou has partnerships with top luxury retailers which has enabled them to grow into a leading brand in the UK. To continue driving growth, Gisou wanted to amplify and maximise the digital opportunities with their 3rd party retailers.


To drive the conversations with the luxury retailers, Gisou needed to arm the traditional sales teams with the opportunities available through digital to support online and retail sales.

With Entropy’s expertise in ecommerce and digital marketing, we developed a tailored playbook specific to Gisou’s needs to upskill their sales teams. The playbook included best practices on:

  • Digital Channels, including Paid Media (e.g., PPC, Social, Display, Affiliates), Owned Media (e.g., Web, SEO, CRM, Email Marketing), and Earned Media (e.g., PR and Editorials, Reviews).
  • Full Funnel Marketing, including top of funnel, middle of funnel, and bottom of funnel.
  • Audience Targeting, including prospecting and retargeting.
  • Testing and Measurement, including attribution, marketing mix modelling (MMM), measurement frameworks, and KPI setting.


In addition, Entropy put together an in-depth media plan with one of their luxury retail partners. Entropy worked closely with Gisou to understand the luxury retailer and developed a media plan that was quantified with evidence-based recommendations. The plan included various scenarios taking into consideration channels, budgets, and campaign duration to maximise the opportunity and increase both Gisou’s brand awareness and sales revenue.
