Entropy’s client-side, agency and data science experts work in partnership with brands to accelerate their growth.
We are a small but impactful consultancy that has two sides to our business. Entropy Consulting is a marketing consultancy focussing on marketing communications and ecommerce. Entropy MMM is the econometrics side of our business that we are restructuring our focus around over the next 12 months. Several innovations to date have included:
- Leading the development of a data standard for Out-of-Home econometric measurement with ISBA and Outsmart in 2021
- Radiocentre supporting our revised approach to planning radio (off the back of several MMM tests we ran)
- Developing an MMM methodology suited to eCommerce focussed brands.

The role
Due to some significant recent client wins we are looking for a senior econometrics lead to join us on a contract to permanent basis.
In time you’ll attract and build an exceptional team. However, to start with you’ll also need to be comfortable at the coal face conducting our client modelling as we develop the team further. At interview we will take you through the specific modelling requirements we have over the next 6-12 months.
You’ll be supported by an experienced colleagues with significant client-side marketing and agency experience. One examples of which is our founder Alex Tait who prior to setting up Entropy was Unilever’s UK Media and Marketing Services Director.

Responsibilities in the role will include
Developing Entropy’s Econometrics business as the leading provider of predictive modelling through the following:
- Lead several clients over a range of industries
- Sell-in / assist with sell in of projects to clients, including pitches
- Produce outstanding marketing evaluation projects to our clients
- Exceptional data analytics
- Presentation delivery to the client
- As we grow personally recruit and manage the development of a number of consultants and analysts. Also lead a team of consultants and analysts to produce outstanding marketing evaluation projects
- Helicopter view in developing tools and ideas to grow the business into new areas using the latest techniques
- Involvement across the business including project management, revenue growth management, new business, research & development, improving internal processes and tool development
Requirements
The role will require the following attributes:
- Proven first class deliverer of high value client media/advertising/digital analytics projects
- Ability to manage project timelines and deliverable schedules
- Define, source, extract and transform analysis input data from multiple sources/platforms
- Oversee development and implementation of Marketing Mix Models, utilizing multivariate regression analysis
- R coding experience
- Ability to explain complex modelling in a very clear and simple manner with proven client presentation skills
- Ability to master knowledge of clients’ business, competition, and latest industry news and trends
- Entrepreneurial attitude
- Knowledge of digital attribution techniques would also be useful.
